Hotel Blue Nijmegen

Hotel Blue Nijmegen by Manna is approached by Hotel Blue in the beginning of 2016. Sander Hendrix and Aïda Papilaja want to start a luxury Hotel in the city of Nijmegen with a high service and quality bar. They already own the successful hotel concept Manna and want to start a new hotel with a different concept. Hotel Blue is a high end hotel concept with a very approachable attitude. Hotel Blue Nijmegen is beautifully designed by Eric de Bruijn and the two owners. There is a high tea lounge, an exquisite restaurant that gives you the possibility to eat in the kitchen. And of course the bar.

For Hotel Blue Nijmegen we develop a concept for the bar. We designed a cocktail menu consisting of 12 well balanced cocktails. For these cocktails we look for close interaction with the kitchen. The signature drinks on the menu are made with a Gin we developed and distilled together with the bar team. Blue Gin by Ivar. See for more information on this gin our blog about Blue Gin by Ivar. does extensive training sessions with the bar team and as a result there is a very knowledgeable and enthusiastic team. We started from scratch with the team. Many training – and guidance hours result in a strong bartending team, lead by Vincent Ogink.

Drinking Menu Hotel Blue Nijmegen

For the drinking menu we choose a combination between established quality brands and small and sometimes unknown beautiful brands. This results and a well balanced spirits menu with a lot of quality to choose from
